Winterguard is an optional, extracurricular competitive program designed to teach and hone colorguard skills during the second semester. Winterguard is ideal for fall colorguard members who want to maintain their colorguard abilities after fall marching band season, and for anyone who wants to become stronger performers through colorguard. The Winterguard ensemble performs on a large mat called a floor, printed or painted with a unique design. The members wear unique costumes specifically for the winter season.
