The DHS Bands have toured Ireland regularly since 1988. The tradition continues in 2022.
The DHS Band and Orchestra tour of Ireland
This tour will occur during DHS Spring Break 2022; Students will not miss any school days.
All members of Wind Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble are expected to attend.
Members of Symphonic Band and Orchestra are encouraged to attend.
Trip cost ESTIMATE is $3,900/traveler, DOUBLE occupancy rooms.
Students will all be in double occupancy rooms.
Trip cost ESTIMATE is $4,400/traveler, SINGLE occupancy rooms, for additional non-Music Program travelers, if requested.
ALL travelers will need a valid passport with an expiration date that is no earlier than Sept 2022.
If yours expires before Sept 2022, please have it renewed now.
Photo of the page with the traveler name, photo and expiration date will be required By October 31. 2021.
Initial, non-refundable deposit of $300/traveler will be due by March 26, 2021.
This deposit is payment to our tour company, World Projects,
for everything they do to coordinate our trip on our behalf, hence, why it is non-refundable.

Monthly payments of $650/double occupancy traveler are due August through December 2021.
Monthly payments of $750/single occupancy traveler are due August through December 2021.
Final balance, after all expenses have been calculated, will be due January 2022.
In addition to the package that World Projects, our tour company, provides, the trip cost also includes:
* busses to and from SFO
* stipend for lunches "on their own" with chaperones (travelers will be given Euros each day)
* a long-sleeved tour t-shirt.
This trip should NOT be considered a Family Vacation for the students.
Students on our travel roster will be in the care/responsibility of Mr Polot from the time we leave DHS to the time we return.
Students will remain with our group as a whole or with their group's chaperone at all times.
They are not permitted to be separated for any reason.
